Very excited to share yet another Six Bricks resources for teachers. This resource (numbers ZERO to NINE) can be easily used in an online and offline classroom format. Below you will find a link to download the PDF file and instructions on how to use it.
How to use this activity –
- The file has 10 pages, one for each number from ZERO to NINE.
- Ideally each number mat must be colour printed on a separate paper and laminated it too.
- Children can do this mat activity individually or in pairs.
- The teacher provides the Six Bricks and any printed number mat to the child.
- Children must use their Six Bricks and fill the empty rectangle boxes. For some numbers you might need more or less than Six Bricks.
- The teacher can then do some number counting activity with children.
- Each mat has some objects printed on it, the teacher can ask them to count the same.
- You can also combine this mat activity with some songs on Youtube related to numbers.
